Happy 2011!

Sorry for such a delayed update! I hope everyone had a nice holiday season. Mine was great :D

Hat: oak, Blazer: Uniqlo, Top and tights: Topshop, Shoes: Modern Vintage, Jewelry: my own and vintage

Photo taken by my friend Jamie Liles, who recently moved to NYC after getting her Masters in Photography. Super awesome sweet girl. Man, I know a lot of talented photographers.

The snow has been insane in NYC!! Its supposed to snow like crazy tonight. Good thing I just stocked up on my groceries today to prepare. Here are some photos from the last blizzard we had from my apartment. I stayed at home all day with my cat. Hah!

So a few new things that I have for your viewing pleasure:

Valentines Day Exclusive Rose Gold Rings! How lovely and appropriate :D

New cube earrings. Personal favorite. Comes in 2 different styles, and I like it when it is mismatched. Currently posted on my site only in silver, but I will have it in gold very soon.

All these new pieces are currently available on my ETSY STORE.

There's no place like home.

I'm back in New York after a very short, hectic, yet strangely relaxing trip home to Honolulu, Hawaii.

While I was home, I did the usual: beach, hike, thrifting, eat, eat, eat, and more beach!

The Art + Flea was such a fun event! I'm so glad I participated because I saw old friends, made new friends, and networked with a lot of people. It was a very successful day for me.

Here are some photos from the Art + Flea:

Working on organizing all my orders on my plane ride back to NY:

Right before landing:

Now, I can show you all the new necklaces that I made for Art + Flea, finally available on Etsy!

These are all sterling silver chain with brass charms and chains added to it. I love the color of brass, it really gives you a rustic look.

These will available on my ETSY STORE starting October 1, so be on the look-out!

Sorry I've been slacking on the updates, but I have some great news! I will be participating in ART + FLEA at Fresh Cafe. I'm taking a spontaneous trip back home to Honolulu, Hawaii! The flight from NYC back home is about 10-12 hours, but its worth it to see my family and friends back at home :D

I will have new necklaces and a new ring design! Come and visit if you are in Honolulu!

ohmygoshitsmai28thbirthday.

Happy birthday to me!

Hmmm...i always thought i would hate being in my late 20s...but i don't seem to mind it. Ask me in a month and see how I feel. HAH!

I had school on my birthday, so I couldn't really get to crazy with the dressing up (and its like 20 degrees outside) but here is my outfit:

boots: joie, h&m shorts, urban outfitters capelet, gap tights, all saints spinalfield scarf, helmut lang top, headband made by me, jewelry: iam. jewelry mixed with some vintage pieces.

As some of you may know, I am originally from Honolulu, Hawaii. I wish I could have seen my family during my birthday, but I did get a sweet phone call from my Mom and Dad while I was at my birthday dinner with my friends. I miss my mom so much that I bought this for myself as a birthday present:

Its a vintage leather bag from the 1940s, in mint condition. I love the detailing so much! Now I can have my mom by my side at all times :) I miss you Mommy!

I recently had a custom order for a pinky ring for one of my many homos back in Hawaii. He said he loved my double bar ring, but wanted something a little more subtle. It came out really cute, and I actually used a thicker rod and ring for him.:

Here I am, working hard in the studio:

I put it on, and it actually looks cute as a women's ring too!

My jewelry line purposely looks very unisex, and that's what I really love about it. It is so versatile, but you can still layer it with other jewelry pieces to make a real statement.

If you'd like a custom piece, you can message me or find me on my etsy store.

My First Fashion Show!

Hope everyone enjoyed their Valentine's Weekend! I surely did :D

I truly believe the Valentine's Day is not real and commercial, but I could not resist the cuteness of these cookies from Bouchon Bakery...

The one in the back kinda looks like it says "kill me", but I'll ignore it for now.

ANYWAY...I went to my first fashion show in NYC! A close friend of mine works for Adidas and got me tickets to the Y3 Show!

I love the purple high tops!

my outfit: +j beanie, scoop sweater, all saints spitalfield wool scarf, j brand jeans, modern vintage boots and my beautiful limited edition bottega veneta bag.

My 4 inch boots nearly killed me on the train ride home. I almost fell down and a kind middle-aged man caught me to save me from the shame of falling on my as$.

Featured vintage item of the week from candyLULU Vintage Shop!

Brooks Brothers Vintage spectator pumps:

These are in beautiful vintage condition, and they're made in Italy. You can buy them at candyLULU Vintage Shop

Finally...New Items on my Etsy Site (this post is getting long!).

Double bar ring in GOLD:

These are 18K Gold plated Silver, aka Vermeil. It lasts much longer than any base metal plating such as brass or nickel. To top it off, its hypoallergenic and it looks cute too! I like to wear them stacked with my silver ring.

Chain Earrings:

These earrings made by oxidizing the silver to give it a more tarnished, vintage look.

Once again, these can all be found on my etsy store.

Have a wonderful week, everyone.
